Israeli forces storm Masjid Al-Aqsa, tortured and arrested Palestinians

(Jerusalem-AlummahWorld, Dhu-AlHijjah 1, 1436, September 15, 2015) Tention heightened in occupied territories as dozens of Israeli forces on Tuesday reportedly stormed occupied East Jerusalem’s flashpoint Masjid Al-Aqsa compound and attacked Muslim worshipers for the third day in a row.

Turkish News agency Anadolu quoted eyewitnesses as saying that Israeli forces fired tear gas, stun grenades and rubber bullets at worshipers near the compound’s iconic Al-Aqsa Mosque and Al-Qibali Mosque.

Local Palestinian media reported that 120 Israeli special forces and police officers stormed the compound, attacked Muslim worshipers, injured number of Palestinian who were shouting tyrant Israeli forces to get them out of sacred Masjid.

“Israeli forces went up to the roof of Al-Qibali Mosque, destroyed its historical gates and fired rubber bullets and gas bombs inside the building,” Omar al-Qiswani, Al-Aqsa Mosque's director, said. “They entered the mosque with their military boots and arrested a Palestinian youth after beating him.”

Al-Qiswani said the mosque has been destroyed from inside because of the repeated attacks and would take at least one year to repair.

Jewish extremist sparked new wave of unrest in East Jerusalem as they called on followers to storm the mosque during Rosh Hashanah, the Jewish New Year.

Islamic month Dhul-AlHijjah just started today on Tuesday. Muslims all around around the world preparing for second largest Islamic festival Eid Al Adha. Millions of pilgrims gathering in Makkah Al Mukrammah to perform Hajj.

New Israeli acts prompted Islamic countries to condemn new agression. Saudia Arabia, Turkey, Jordan, UAE and other Islamic countries reacted sharply while Secretary General of Organization of Islamic Cooperation, the OIC Iyad Amin Madani strongly condemned intrusion of Israeli occupation of Masjid Al Aqsa and its assault on worshipers.

Israeli acts has been raisises concerns and anger among Muslims around the world.

Israel occupied East Jerusalem during the 1967 Middle East War. It later annexed the city in 1980, claiming it as the capital of the self-proclaimed Jewish state in a move never recognized by the international community.
