Tensions had been mounting steadily for weeks across the occupied Palestinian territory due to Israeli restrictions on Palestinians seeking to enter the Al-Aqsa Mosque compound in East Jerusalem.

At least 900 Palestinians have been injured in seven consecutive days of demonstrations and clashes in the occupied West Bank and East Jerusalem, at least 60 with live fire, medics say.

Earlier, a 13-year-old Palestinian boy Abed al-Rahman Shadi Obeidallah, was shot and killed by Israeli soldiers during clashes in Aida refugee camp in Bethlehem on Monday. He was shot near the heart by Israeli forces during clashes in the refugee camp and was taken to Beit Jala hospital where he immediately underwent surgery. However, doctors later pronounced him dead. The occupied West Bank was rocked by settler attacks on Palestinians and their property on Thursday night and Friday after a fatal shooting attack was carried out by alleged Palestinian gunmen.

The attack left Israeli settlers Eitam and Naama Henkin dead in their car as they were driving in the Nablus area of the northern West Bank. But Palestinians suspects that Israeli forces wearing Palestinian style cloths actually carrying out such incidents to spark unrest so that they can act against Palestinians under the pretext that Palestinians are attacking Jewish.

They questioned why Israeli forces and their secret agents are increasingly wearing Palestinian`s style dress and cover their faces to hide their identities? Palestinians claims that these are Israeli tactics to misguide and cheat the world that Palestinians are attacking on Israel and Jewish.
