(Istanbul-AlummahWorld, Shawwal 12, 1437 AH, 17 July 2016) Delivering a speech in Istanbul, President Erdogan addressed US President Barack Obama and said: “Mr. President, I previously asked for the repatriation of the person living on the 400-decare land in Pennsylvania. I informed you that they were running after a coup but I couldn’t make you heed my warning. I am repeating my call after this coup attempt: Repatriate the person in Pennsylvania to Turkey!”

President Recep Tayyip Erdogan offered an address to citizens that gathered in front of his residence in Istanbul’s Kısıklı district in protest of the foiled coup attempt of the FETO/PDY (Fethullahist Terror Organization/Parallel State Structure.)

President Erdogan spoke as follows: “I know that people from four corners of the country share this excitement with you. This country has suffered a lot from this parallel state structure, whose lower ranks are engaged in prayer, the middle ranks are engaged in trade and the upper ranks are engaged in treason.

“IF WE ARE STRATEGIC PARTNERS, MEET THIS DEMAND OF YOUR PARTNER’S”.

“They have complained about this country and state, so to speak, through baseless and fabricated news abroad from America to Europe. Now I am calling on the US from here. I am calling on Mr. President. Mr. President, I previously asked for the repatriation of the person living on the 400-decare land in Pennsylvania. I informed you that they were running after a coup but I couldn’t make you heed my warning. I am repeating my call after this coup attempt: Repatriate the person in Pennsylvania to Turkey!” said the President, stressing:

“If we are strategic partners, meet this demand of your partner’s. We have repatriated any terrorist you have asked for. And now please repatriate this person to us who is in our terror list.”

President Erdogan added: “Thanks be to Allah, this initiative didn’t yield the result they wished. Because we believed that there is a destiny above destiny. We said that the justice doesn’t derive from the power; but the power derives from the justice. Don’t worry! We bow down only before Allah. It doesn’t befit us to bow down before anyone else. During these operations we unfortunately had police and civilian martyrs. I wish Allah’s mercy upon our martyrs and a speedy recovery to the wounded.”

President Erdogan further stated: “These incidents have been orchestrated by a minority within the armed forces, not by the armed forces itself. They are a tumour within the armed forces. Now this tumour is being cleansed. Our armed forces will advance towards a point that is fit for itself. I also thank the judiciary very much. All across the country, the judiciary, in cooperation with the national police, has ruled for the detention of these people regardless of their names, posts or ranks.”

In response to “We want death sentence” slogans of the crowd, President Erdogan said: “Discussing any demand is a right in democratic countries. These are discussed under the roof of the parliament. There is no need for a permission for this. This structure also bombed the Grand National Assembly of Turkey (TBMM) which had put up the War of Independence. This structure assumed that the parliament would cease its works. On the contrary, the parliament has convened today and a joint declaration has been released with the participation of the 4 parties. This joint declaration is also our declaration. We undersign it. We always need this unity and solidarity. Once we achieve this, there is no obstacle we cannot overcome. These incidents are the work of the mastermind that cannot accept Turkey’s rising.”

President Erdogan continued: “Do you know what the issue is all about? You taking to streets since the beginning foiled everything. I say, no mercy! Our Prime Minister, government and all the state institutions are carrying out their works. There are many generals and colonels detained. I want to remind you that now there might be powers that want to pit the Turkish Armed Forces against the nation. There might be powers receiving support from the inside. Never let them fool us. After all, this Armed Forces belongs to us. It doesn’t belong to the parallel structure. And this brother of yours is the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces according to the constitution.”

Making an emphasis on “one nation, one flag, one homeland, one state,” President Erdogan concluded his address with those remarks: “You know, we, together with the soldier and police, have been waging a very serious fight against terrorist organizations that work to divide our country. This struggle is still mainly going on in the southeast. We will hopefully achieve success there too. We won’t give this country up to a handful of terrorists. We will make it through here as well. However, as I have said, with the understanding of one state, we will never surrender this country to the parallel state structure. The operation to clean our institutions from them has now started. We will get rid of them.”

President Erdogan concluded his address by repeating his call to the US to “repatriate the person in Pennsylvania to Turkey,” and vowing to continue this struggle against the parallel state structure until the end.
