(Quebec-AlummahWorld, Jumada Al-Ualaa 3, 1438, January 31, 2017)A French Canadian known for far-right, nationalist views, was charged Monday with six counts of first-degree murder and five counts of attempted murder over the shooting rampage at a Quebec City mosque that Canada's prime minister called an act of terrorism against Muslims.

Suspect Alexandre Bissonnette made a brief court appearance and did not enter a plea in the attack that left six people dead during evening prayers Sunday. Wearing a white prisoner jump suit, his hands and feet shackled, he stared down at the floor and fidgeted, but did not speak.

A second man who was detained after the attack on the Quebec City Islamic Cultural Center, where six people were killed and 17 others were injured, is considered a witness and not a suspect. Police said they are confident there was only one shooter.

More than 50 people were in the mosque at the time of the attack.

According to the local news reports, the 27-year-old suspect, who has espoused support for the French far-right party of Marine Le Pen and had liked U.S. President Donald Trump on his Facebook page, was known to those who monitor extremist groups in Quebec, said François Deschamps, an official with a refugee advocacy group. "It's with pain and anger that we learn the identity of terrorist Alexandre Bissonnette, unfortunately known to many activists in Quebec for taking nationalist, pro-Le Pen and anti-feminist positions at Laval University and on social media," Deschamps wrote on the Facebook page of the group, Bienvenues aux Refugiés, or Welcome to Refugees.

Although several world leaders condemned attack on Quebec City Islamic Center, US President Donald Trump and British prime minister Theresa May, Russian and Chinese government avoided to call the attack on a religious facility a "terror attack" as clearly described by the Canadian prime minister.

Although several world leaders condemned attack on Quebec City Islamic Center, non of the mainstream international media networks such as CNN, FOX News, BBC or French news  networks didn`t called the attack on Quebec Islamic Center as an act of terrorism nor they described suspected shooter as terrorist.

Furthermore, non of the media reveal religion of arrested terrorist Alexandre Bissonnette nor the mentioned religious affiliation of him although his facebook page was showing picture of Pope.

Mix reaction are coming out from diversified Canadian society. "Inconvenient truth is that white, Christian men are Canada's mass shooters" Neil Macdonald, an author wrote on CBCnews website revealing history of shooting incidents in Canada.

"In fact, in the pantheon of Canadian mass murderers, Mr. Bissonnette is entirely unremarkable. Just about every single one in our modern history has been a Canadian-born, Canadian citizen, and usually Christian, meaning extreme vetting of immigrants from places like Yemen and Iraq wouldn't have done a thing to prevent their predations", he added.

The arrested suspect shooter Bissonnette was charged with six counts of first degree murder and five counts of attempted murder instead of terrorism suspect. It would be notable that the Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau called the attack as terrorist attack on Muslims.
