Trump arrives in Saudi Arabia, King Salman welcomes US President at historic Morabaa Palace

(Riyadh-AlummahWorld-Sha'ban25,1438H) Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, received on Saturday at the Morabaa' Palace in Riyadh President Donald Trump of the United States of America, Saudi Press Agency reported. The president was also received by a number of princes.

Upon arrival, the Saudi A'rdhah was performed and the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques and the American President participated in the A'rdhah.

The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques accompanied the American President on a tour of the palace and the King briefed the president on contents of the palace.

The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud held a dinner in honor of President Donald Trump of the United States of America and his accompanying delegation.

The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques then accompanied the American President on a tour of the National Museum where he briefed the president and his accompanying delegation on the most prominent features of the museum. The event was attended by a number of princes and officials.

Later, Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Naif bin Abdulaziz, Deputy Premier and Minister of Interior, met with US President Donald Trump and his accompanying delegation. 

At the beginning of the meeting, President Trump praised the constructive cooperation between the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the United States in all fields. He described his meeting with Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud as well as the exchange of agreements between the two countries as great.

During the meeting, they discussed means of enhancing bilateral relations to serve the peoples of the two countries. They also discussed cooperation between the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the United States in the field of counter terrorism, in addition to the latest developments in the Middle East.

The meeting was attended by Prince Abdulaziz bin Saud bin Naif bin Abdulaziz, Advisor to the Minister of Interior; Prince Khalid bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, Saudi Ambassador to the United States; Minister of Foreign Affairs Adel bin Ahmed Al-Jubeir; US Secretary of State Rex Tillerson; and a number of officials.
