Saudi Arabia, OIC condemned attack in Britain city Manchester

(Jeddah-AlummahWorld-Sha'ban29,1438H) An official source at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs has expressed the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia's strong condemnation of the bomb attack in Manchester in the United Kingdom which led to killing and wounding tens of people.

The source in its statement reaffirmed the Kingdom's solidarity with the United Kingdom, underscoring the importance of joining international efforts to eradicate the scourge of terrorism and extremism.

The official source offered the Kingdom's condolences to the families of the victims, the Government and the people of the United Kingdom, wishing a speedy recovery for the wounded.

OIC Secretary General Dr. Yousef Al-Othaimeen has condemned in the strongest term the attack on the Manchester Arena, Manchester city on Monday, 22nd May 2017, that led to the death of at least 22 people and injuring more than 50 others.

Alarmed by the heinous nature of the attack, the Secretary General who also expressed his anguish over the death of these innocent people and injuring many others, urged the UK authorities to bring the perpetrators of this terrible act to justice.

The Secretary General offered his condolence to the families of the victims, and to the people and government of the United Kingdom. He reiterated the principled position of the OIC that vigorously denounces any and all acts of terrorism and violent extremism in all forms and manifestations, just as it categorically rejects any justifications for terrorism.
